Full-time courses for people whose first language is not English. All full-time courses include SQA-accredited qualifications in ESOL. The Elementary course covers basic language skills to allow you to communicate in spoken and written English.
You will study: General English Language Skills, Study Skills, Citizenship and ICT (Information, Communications and Technology) Skills for ESOL. You must be able to commit to a full-time programme.
You need a basic level of spoken and written English for this course. We will invite you for a language assessment to decide the most suitable level of study.

The Higher English Course includes the study of plays, poetry, short stories and novels as well as the writing of personal, discursive and critical essays, it also develops your listening and talking skills.
