The IALC offers several intensive English language programs each year. Each program session runs for eight weeks.
You can also take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) while studying at the IALC.
The main program offers five, eight-week sessions per year and six levels of language instruction, from beginning to high advanced.
Beginner
Low Intermediate
Intermediate – Eligible to take WSU Institutional TOEFL
High Intermediate
Advanced – Undergraduate study preparation (meets WSU language proficiency requirement for undergraduate admission)
High Advanced – Graduate study preparation (meets WSU language proficiency requirement for graduate study)

Group programs typically last from 2 to 6 weeks. Students live in residence halls on the Washington State University campus in Pullman and study with professional ESL faculty.
