Located in Quebec, Edu-Inter is offering French language programs for teenagers and adults. In 2013, more than 550 students from 32 different countries took classes at Edu-Inter. Also, one can find French language courses that focus specifically on cooking, playing tennis or golf. Our school has a gym, a library and a computer lab. There is a maximum of 15 students per class and we offer 6 levels of French. About accommodation, students have the following options: Homestay and residence. We also offer cultural programs such as trips to Montreal, Ottawa or the Niagara Falls in Toronto.

LEARN CORE FRENCH
This program provides students with 15 hours of French classes per week in the morning. French classes cover listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, in addition to grammar and phonetics. In the afternoon, students have free time to discover Quebec City and its cultural, historical and gastronomic attractions.
LEARN INTENSIVE FRENCH
Students might complete their French classes with conversation workshops. Conversation workshops cover themes such as typical day-to-day situations or themes related to culture, current events, literature, cinema or music. Conversation workshops give students the opportunity to further develop oral fluency.
LEARN SUPER-INTENSIVE FRENCH
The Super-Intensive French program is a 27.5-hour per week language course (30 hours per week during the summer session) that follows international standards and focuses on developing reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension in French for students of all levels and abilities. The content of this course will help you prepare for recognized exams such as the DELF, DALF, TCF and TFI.
Spend your mornings taking comprehensive French classes, and in the afternoon, develop your oral fluency through conversation workshops discussing themes related to culture, current events, literature, cinema or music. The additional semiprivate classes are a very effective complement to the program for students who need immediate results in a short period of time. These classes are adaptable to the student’s needs and interests, and can cover topics related to business and workplace French.
LEARN FRENCH AND VOLUNTEER
The Learn French and Volunteering program is a great opportunity to learn and practice French while serving the local community. By combining French classes with a volunteering project and accommodation with a host family, students live a true immersion experience.
The volunteering projects are varied and offer a fantastic complement for short to medium-term study periods. It is the perfect option for students who are looking for meaningful engagement with the community and for learning and practicing French in an entirely authentic environment. Before the volunteering portion begins, students need to have completed level A1.
LEARN FRENCH AND WORK
The Learn French and Work program is an effective French immersion program that allows students to achieve a high level of fluency in French, to gain valuable work experience in a French-speaking environment and to earn money to subsidize their stay in Quebec City. The program is divided in two components: the French courses and a work experience.
The Work program provides employment placement and supervision, in partnership with a host of local employers. Work placements are with organisations in the service sector, such as hotels, restaurants, retail stores and cafes. Participants will work part-time or full-time after they finish their courses at Edu-inter. This program is available only for Canadians and students with a working holiday visa.
LEARN FRENCH FOR FUTURE IMMIGRANTS
The French for Future Immigrants to Quebec program helps to prepare students who have applied, or are planning to apply for immigration to Quebec. Through French classes, conversation workshops and conferences on different subjects related to Quebec culture and practical issues about life in this city, students get better prepared for their eventual immigration.
We offer four conferences on topics about immigration in Quebec.

LEARN FRENCH AND MUSIC
With the French and Music program, students complete their French courses with music lessons offered at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec. Music classes are available for most of the instruments and include private teaching, group classes and supervised practice.

BUSINESS FRENCH IN QUEBEC CITY
The Business French program provides professional, practical and linguistic tools for a French business environment. This program is a good opportunity to extend its social and professional network.
In addition to French courses, students get conversation workshop focused on business context and vocabulary. Students are welcome to exchange ideas, strategies and techniques between themselves.

If you are looking for a French school in Canada, I do not recommend Edu-Inter at least not at this moment in time. We brought our daughter to her Edu-Inter homestay in Quebec and learned on arrival that the host had not been given any information about her, including about her nut allergy. The host had only been informed that we were coming when we texted her on the way. There's serious disorganization.
There's also false advertising: Edu-Inter did not assess our daughter in advance as promised. The next day, there were no lessons at the school. The music program was not held at the Conservatoire de Quebec as promised but in a small music store in a strip mall outside of the city to which she was driven. Her bus ride back took 1.5 hours. We called the coordinator and two directors, left messages and no one called back. We decided to remove her from the school after the first day. A week later and still no return call and no response to our request for a refund. We were required to pay with a certified check which means that we could not simply stop payment.

My child got lost at an evening event - concert when her buddy left her one. The staff did next to nothing to find her and kept telling us to have her find them. I sent email with copies of the communication to the director and received NO response. The 24 emergency line went to voicemail. We were in the early weeks and a lot of time seemed to be focused on getting longer stay kids situated. For the amount of money we expect more immersion. Kids liked the afternoon activities. The dorm is OLD and hot, but they were given a fan. The staff was better with the younger kids. But they didn't seem to appreciate the inherent risks and dangers with the teenagers.

My kids did not learn French at all. They were there for 2 weeks. They enrolled in the French program with music. My son played the saxophone but they did not have a sax teacher so he did piano and it was less than good. I paid for saxophone not piano. He home stay was horrible, in a very far area with multiple buses to take to school. The area he lived was poor and looked very unsafe, with trashed mattresses and miscellaneous household items in the back yard. I could not believe this when I dropped him off. His home stay did not care about him, never took him anywhere. People hosting students are in it for the money. My daughter's home stay was ok but again, the woman does it for the money, not for providing an experience out of generosity for a foreign student...who has time for this? Overall very disappointed with less than quality on the French teaching and results. Also the activity was to go to an amusement park in Montreal..."La Ronde" on a day with the worst heat. Who wants to spend a day there when you are in Quebec city? How about taking students to see some of the nature places, like Tadoussac maybe? Not a good program.

This school is not good: poor infrastructure, classrooms are small, sometimes crowded, poor ventilation, you received lots of printed paper, hand written materials on the board are difficult to read, they speak fast. Also my home-stay was a nightmare - I didn't receive the food that I paid for, no French immersion but English, and the homestay was made short one week. Today, I received an email that I wouldn't receive the reimbursed because I didn't accept their suggestion of placing me in a very far away place, after I paid walking distance from school. I should have paid more attention on the review of previous students...

AVOID! This language school is a scam. They took over 600 dollars from me as a deposit for a course in July 2019. When they cancelled the course, they refused to give me a refund and instead issued me with a credit note. I booked another course for July 2020 which was also cancelled. They still refused to give me back my money. I reluctantly agreed to do an online course and a week before, I was told again that the course would not be running. Again, no refund. DO NOT GIVE THE SCHOOL ANY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! They will push and push the sales of the courses but after they have your money, they will not meet trading standards.

Mes études à l'école Edu-inter ont été fantastiques! J'ai aimé mon professeur, la méthodologie et les activités de conversation. Toute l'équipe a été toujours agréable et heureux de m'aider quand je avais besoin.
Le fait qu'il faut parler le français en tout temps à l'école m'a aidé à apprendre plus vite. J'ai aimé les activités à l'extérieur avec Cloe et les bavardages en français avec Sergio aussi.

Lorsque j’ai décidé d’apprendre le français je cherchais une école qui offrait l’enseignement théorique et la pratique. Au cours de mes recherches sur internet j’ai repéré l’école Edu-Inter.
J’ai reçu tous les renseignements nécessaires au Brésil. Ces renseignements m’ont été par une représentante commerciale qui parlait le portugais. J’ai participé à plusieurs téléconférences en ligne afin d’obtenir toutes les informations sur les programmes de formation et les coûts de celle-ci.
J’ai choisi le programme d’immersion incluant une activité de bénévolat d’une durée de six mois. C’est d’ailleurs la possibilité de faire une stage de bénévolat , ainsi que le prix global du programme qui m’ont fait choisir cette école.
En avril 2016, au moment d’entreprendre le programme, ma maîtrise du français était de niveau intermédiaire A2.2. Mon séjour m’a permis de progresser et d’atteindre le niveau B2.
J’ai découvert que l’approche pédagogique était adaptée à andragogie. Les méthodes d’enseignement comprennent des exposés magistraux, des activités de groupe , des présentations qui toutes facilitent l’apprentissage tant de l’oral que de l’écrit.
Les activités de bénévolat en milieu hospitalier m’ont permis d’interagir avec le personnel professionnel ainsi qu’avec les résidents permanents, favorisant ma compréhension et mon expression orale.
Je suis satisfaite et reconnaissante à l’école pour son encadrement. En définitive, tous les efforts que j’ai consacré à ce stage d’immersion m’ont permis non seulement d’apprendre une nouvelle langue mais aussi de vivre une expérience culturelle enrichissante.

Ótima opção para aprender francês no Canadá. Excelentes professores e profissionais da equipe de apoio. Muito boa estrutura, principalmente as salas de aula com mesas espaçosas para os alunos estudarem, além das salas de informática, restaurante e biblioteca. Bem localizada e com ônibus em frente à escola. Próxima de pontos turísticos como o Vieux-Quebec, Museu de Belas Artes e etc. Valeu demais estudar na Edu-Inter.
