Inspiring globally-minded students, educators and leaders to change their lives and the world, Global Launch at ASU has been offering specially designed intensive English language instruction through our IEP for over 40 years. Global Launch is also launching the ASU-USA Pathways program for Fall 2016, which provides additional academic and English support to international students looking to begin their degree program at ASU or any other American university.

Global Launch is located on two of ASU's major campuses, including West and Tempe (the largest), a mid-size college town neighboring Phoenix, the nation's 5th largest city. Intensive ESL is offered at six levels. No TOEFL is required for ASU enrollment for most degree programs upon successful completion of Global Launch.
Improve international student readiness to study in the US
Offered year around, our Intensive English Program (IEP) has the most specialized electives than any other program in the U.S. Our program enables our students to receive well-rounded English language training while staying on track for their future studies via conditional admission, concurrent enrollment, and ASU-USA Pathways.
Capacity building at ASU and abroad – Teacher training
Custom teacher training programs in collaboration with foreign universities, NGOs, local governments, and various ministries of education on all continents. Global Launch differentiates itself from other universities in utilizing 171 technologies in 2015, and using English as a medium of instruction.
International student access through ASU-USA Pathways program
Students can ease into the American academic system by stretching 2 semesters into 3, while earning 25 real, transferrable academic credits (freshman) toward their degree. Our International students will get true academic and English support while in our program, making them stronger sophomores at ASU or any other U.S. university.
An Immersive Experience
Both teachers and students that study in our program at ASU have full access to all ASU resources and amenities, including academic counseling and housing, offering participants the chance to experience real, American university life.

AECP is a intensive program that offer many things to learn,you can developt some skill in listening and speaking, in grammar, reading and writing also you can choice some classes related with you major. I think it is so helpful. Helps how to improve your English language. The teachers are so helpful and knowledgeable, they help a lot.There are many activities that you can enjoy with the foreign students, even with native speakers, they help how can you improve and getting enroll in the language. At the beginning you feel you scare because you are starting to speak English, so you have to do everything in English but once you get in roll in the language nobody is going to stop you. I t was a good experience and if i had the opportunity to do it all over again I will do it without hesitation. If I did it you can do it.

AECP is an Intensive English Language program that have helped me to improve my English language abilities. Before I came here, i felt that is impossible to communicate and express my ideas to english speakers. But now, i am more comfortable in english and this self confidence encourage me to study on my master degree. Also i can get job interviews with companies for full-time jobs. AECP offers core classes, such as academic writing, reading, listening and speaking, and elective classes in six different level in order to improve all student's language level and all these classes covers many usefull and contemporary topics to help students. Thank you AECP for helping to build my future.

It has been 7 years since I've attended AECP program. To be honest with you, I wasn't expecting more than improving my language skills especially my grammar however, the program just boosted my life. After I've attended the program, my fluency has increased noticeably and I was very confident to talk to people. More so, I happened to encourage myself to get interviews with companies for their internship or full-time positions.
Besides, our teachers were so kind and open minded about bothering them all the time. No matter how important (!) my question or concern was, they were there to help.
Social activities were also lots of fun. I had a chance to go to Grand Canyon with them and socializing with people coming from various different countries is just priceless. I realize how little I knew about the world as I happen to talk to people from China, Brazil or Italy.
When I was in my home country I always dreamed of attending one of the best universities in the world and as a current student of ASU, I can't thank enough to AECP for assistance to realize that dream with confidence and proud.
I'd say much more things about the program but I'd rather give you an opportunity to explore on your own as well.
Thank you AECP for changing my life.

Well, I think aecp is perfect for every student coming from anywhere around the world. As an abroad student I really recommend ASU for studying. But I have one thing that I dont like, which is the classes being so far from each other class.. Something else happened to me recently about my finance issues. When i paid for my first course i payed a bit extra so they said you will get a refund within 20-21 days, so i waited and nothing came I talked to the aecp staff and they said they took the money to pay for the new course and late fee charges.. I didnt really like that.. I mean if they wanted the money I will pay for it but not with the money that they wanted to refund.. Regardless of the flaws everything is perfect.
