This is an intensive English course for non-native speakers to prepare for Higher Education courses. Develop academic English for study at degree level at university.
To enter this course you have to require Level 1 English language qualifications in speaking, listening, reading and writing (particularly in reading and writing). You will be assessed before the course starts through a test and interview.

You will study three units: word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint for presentations. You will also study Functional Skills English and Employability Skills (CV writing and preparation for interview) as an essential part of this programme. This course is ideally suited for ESOL students who would like to develop IT skills to Level 1 or Level 2 for use in the workplace.
Progress to a Level 2 or Level 3 course in IT or Business and into work in a range of office and business administration positions.
