The city of Santo Domingo de Heredia near Costa Rica's capital city of San José is a fascinating experience, a harmonious blend of modern atmosphere as well as colonial-style architecture and natural landscapes. Our students enjoy the peaceful surroundings perfectly suited for studying while enjoying the local accomodities for a comfortable stay.
Our school is situated in an extraordinary part of the city. Here, students enjoy the quiet, peaceful environment of an impressive tropical garden. Upon request, classes can even take place here. The modern school building has fifteen spacious classrooms and a big events room that is used for drama and dance classes. Of course, there's free Wi-Fi access for all our students.
Furthermore, there's shops, restaurants and bars near to the school. There's also a bus stop from where students can get to San José and Herdia in a mere fifteen minutes.

Nombre d'heures hebdomadaires: Général (15-25 h/semaine), Intensif (>25 h/semaine)
The Intensive Course is our standard program of 20 lessons per week of general Spanish. This means you will have 4 hours of class per day from Monday to Friday. The course is offered year-round at all 6 levels and is taught in mini groups with maximum 6 (8 in peak season) and average 3 students with the same proficiency level. Before the start of your language course, you will take a placement test which helps us to place you in the correct group. You will develop and improve all language skills (writing, reading, listening and speaking). Besides the language, you will also learn more about the culture of Latin America and the specific country where you are studying.
The Intensive Plus Course is a combined course of the 20 lessons intensive general Spanish in mini groups plus 10 individual classes in the afternoon to address personal interests or difficulties in the language.

The DELE - Diploma for Spanish as a foreign language - is the only official Spanish certificate recognized by the Instituto Cervantes.

The Executive & Professional Course is a combined course of the 20 lessons intensive general Spanish in mini groups plus 15 individual classes in the afternoon to prepare students for the special requirements of professional life. Field-specific vocabulary, precise formulation and fluency in speech are the main goals of these courses. The individual classes are tailored to each student's specific needs. Students are encouraged to fine-tune the content of the course with their teachers so that it fully meets their needs.
