The USC Language Academy offers high-quality, year-round English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction for academic and professional preparation. At the Academy students rapidly improve their English skills through intensive study, campus involvement, cultural and educational activities. Students attend 21 hours of class each week taught on campus by USC faculty. For enhanced study, students may choose to enroll in a specialized "TOEFL Preparation Track" or "Business English Track". The Academy offers four terms/year for 6 weeks or 14 weeks of study. Located on the University of Southern California campus in downtown Los Angeles, the Academy provides students with the opportunity to experience a top U.S. institution and explore one of America's most exciting cities. Academy students enjoy full access to all campus amenities including libraries and computer labs, dining, recreational and medical facilities. The Academy arranges for student housing in university apartments or dormitories for all terms. Students join weekly activities around Los Angeles such as: the Getty Museum, Santa Monica, Disneyland, Dodgers games and Malibu beaches. For students who plan to continue their studies in the U.S.A., university admission advisement is available. The USC Language Academy offers ESL students a unique university experience in Los Angeles that will prepare them for the next step in their academic or professional careers.
