Our Intensive English courses offer six levels, from low-beginner to high-advanced, to accomodate learners at any level of English proficiency. In addition to courses in reading, writing, grammar, listening, speaking, and pronunciation, ASC focuses on academic skills and real-world applications of the English language.

A high iBT TOEFL score is your key to entering hundreds of colleges and graduate schools across the United States.
Here at ASC English we‘ve been preparing our students for success on the TOEFL since 1998. ASC English was one of the first ESL schools in the Boston area to teach students the skills they need to score high on the IBT TOEFL exam.
Our curriculum developers attended training seminars offered by ETS to prepare a new IBT TOEFL curriculum which we began teaching the first month the IBT TOEFL was introduced. Unlike the old TOEFL exam, if you can‘t use English or speak it fluently, you can‘t pass the TOEFL exam. ASC‘s IBT curriculum focuses on the specific skills student‘s need to ace the exam.
On average, our students raise their scores by 15-30 points after taking our preparation courses.

Our IELTS classes are taught by instructors with strong test-preparation experience, whose goals are to:

• Address specific test sections you may be struggling with
• Prepare you to score highly on the exam!
Lessons will focus on the specific IELTS test sections: Academic Reading, Academic Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Instructors will provide individualized feedback during your course, to help address and improve your section skills.
