Kia Ora - welcome to NZ and to Kiwi English Academy! Kiwi English Academy is a specialist English language institution established since 1991 and offering high quality courses to both juniors and adults from around the world. Junior students ( aged 11 - 17) are taught separately to a tailored curriculum; most juniors participate in our unique high school preparation course which allows students to upskill their English and also to learn subject specific language and study skills, culminating in unit standards which successful students can take to high school. Kiwi has very strong links into secondary schools and places many students each year for either short term experiential courses or longer term academic programmes. Our policy is to match the requirements of students with schools' strengths, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the students. Adult students have the choice of an academic or general pathway; academic students take intensive study for international English exams and / or tertiary study either in NZ or elsewhere. The general pathway offers standard / intensive courses and also includes our popular internship and working holiday programmes for certain students.
