À propos Institut de Touraine
Having celebrated 100th anniversary in 2012, Institut de Touraine is one of the most renowned and experienced language schools in France. The Institut is located in Tours city centre, a safe and pleasant city (300.000 inhabitants), only one hour away from Paris by train, in the beautiful Loire Valley area (part of UNESCO's World Heritage list). With a faculty of 30 teachers, the Institut offers a wide range of courses: general French course, French for specific purpose (business, legal, medical, etc.), training for teachers of French, vocational education, one-to-one courses… Our programs last from 1 week to 9 months. Private tutoring is available for all students. We organize tailor-made courses for high schools, colleges and universities. The school is open all year long. It operates under the pedagogical supervision of the University of Tours. In 2007, the Institut de Touraine was awarded the quality label "FLE" by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and it has been renewed in 2015 thanks to constant top quality results. Also proud member of "The Education Valley". The Institut provides all types of accommodation and extra-curricular activities (excursions and sports). Certified exam centre for DELF, DALF exams.

I had the privilege of studying at the Institut de Touraine in 2013. Starting at zero was a challenge. Thankfully, the staff is very helpful and nice. Tours is a beautiful city and a great place to learn about the French culture. I have recently returned to the Institut to continue studying. Learning French in Tours has greatly enriched my life.
