GETI Tasmania represents the Tasmanian Government-funded education sector, including: High schools, for Years 7 - 10 Senior secondary colleges, for Years 11 and 12, and The Tasmanian Polytechnic (formerly TAFE Tasmania) for vocational training.

Tasmania is an island state of the Commonwealth of Australia, which offers the same lifestyle, advantages and quality education system as the rest of Australia, but with a few key differences: we are small, with a population of just 500,000; and we are surrounded by some of the finest scenery, cleanest air and best produce in the world. We work with a hand-picked list of high schools, chosen for their excellent reputation, with plenty to offer to international students.

Our senior secondary colleges offer various language courses on their campuses that can help to prepare for entry to university. The Tasmanian Polytechnic offers a comprehensive list of courses to prepare adults for the workforce or to upgrade their existing skills.
