Carmen Navarro Casares Spain
studied General EnglishMy experience in Tamwood Vancouver .
My name is Carmen , I am from Spain and I have always loved English as a language . I have always thought that the world made a mistake giving Spanish to me as my mother language so that is why I decided long time ago to learn English perfectly . My mother and I decided that the perfect thing to do to end up speaking English as a native speaker is to go abroad for a period of time and then , that is what I did . I left everything for six months and headed to Vancouver , Canada . I was scared at the beginning. I imagine everybody was the first day they arrived in Tamwood .
But fear turned into happiness when I first met Ana , my Brazilian roomate , who helped me a lot . She showed me the way from the house to the bus station , where I needed to go when we went inside of Tamwood , she introduced me her group of friends and that gesture helped me a lot to get comfortable since the beginning . Ok , I am not going to tell every detail I lived but I just want to say that Canada , Vancouver and Tamwood have sheltered me , have treated me as a Canadian and have helped me every time I needed . It really is a special and multicultural country , and that is what tourists are attracted to . Tamwood is not just an international college , it is more than that . Tamwood for me has been a family since the first day . And the best part of Tamwood is how people from so many different countries with very different cultures mixed and make a big international family . Now , one year after my experience , is when I realize that the friendships you made there are still existing . I am so happy when I see pictures of my Mexican friends with Japanese friends visiting each other . I remember how interesting was to finish school and go to a bar with your friends to talk about everything and just to have fun together without caring from what country you are . Tamwood as a way of learning English is awesome . There is no other word to describe it . All teachers help you every second you need it and they never let you fail or give up if something does not go as you want . I started in level 4 and I ended my stay in level 6 so , What does that mean? , That means that my teachers showed me how to be an English speaker naturally , and after all my efforts I did it . We all can increase our knowledge and forced ourselves a little bit so we can get whatever we want .
I have nothing but the best to say about Tamwood , an undescribable college.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope you go and live the same beautiful life I lived.
