Great experience!!

I´ve lived with Sue and Ralf for 3 weeks in their friendly house in Bristol. They been very interested in teaching me all their knowledge, they have been very good teachers.
I had six hours/day classes and all of them were really completed (including vocabulary, grammar and listening).
During this time I had the opportunity to visit some places with them (Bath, Wells, Stonehenge, Avebury and beautiful landscapes around Wales and River Seven). It was a surprise for me to discover how marvelous they cook.
Thanks to people of Living Learning English for all the facilities and I recommend this program to everyone who needs to improve the English level.

My feedback

Dear Kate,
I would like first to say thank you for you, for all LLE staff above all for my teacher Gill Stephens and family, for exciting experience that gave me a possibility to learn and obviously improve my English level, like my teacher had exactly described on her report about my journey in UK and allowed me to know this amazing country with the very polite people.

Gill is a kind of teacher that I was looking for: competent, precise, sympathetic, good cook, with a comfortable house I really felt like in my own family, after this experience now I'm considering UK like a ones of the country where in the future I'll go maybe to live and work.

I enjoyed my journey because everything was perfect from home tuition course passing through sightseeing, conservation during the main meals, visiting a enormous Royal Pavilion, villages, White cliffs....and more exciting was to have a lunch in a typical English pub taking a local beer!!!Fantastic.

Now I have to keep my English using the book, cd and video that you gave and try to get IELTS exam, we never know maybe in the future I'll contact LLE again.

Many thanks and wish you all the best.

About my trip to Oxford

My trip to England was amazing. I have been to Oxford. I was introduce to an excellent family, Patrick and Elaine Tilley. I spent couple weeks with them. I feel more confident in the English Language. It’s helped me to understand how English people live in their ordinary lives. It was very interesting to live in an English town house with an English family.
I had lessons every day for three hours in the morning except for the week end. Dipping into the English Language helped me to improve my skills. I used my course book to study. I improved my vocabulary every day because everywhere is English. I listened to English speech all the time at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It helped me to understand and speak in the English language better.
During my free time I went to the Cinema, the Theatre and the football match. I could walk into the city centre easily or go by bus. I saw a lots of old colleges and churches and I walked around the historic centre of Oxford on several occasions. I also went to London – it is easy to take a bus from the centre of Oxford to the centre to London. I saw a lot of amazing places in London such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. I went to the Science Museum. I also had a trip to the country side, into the Cotswolds. There are lots of old English Cottages. I spent an unbelievable time in Oxford.

Christmas in the UK

Hello. My name is Mika. I am 14 years old and I come from Tokyo. I've been staying in England for two weeks with my host family and studying English every day. I experienced and saw a lot of British Christmas culture. I experienced Christingle at local church, we had an amazing party at my host mother's relative's house. I also watched the Morris Dance. I can't have those experience in Japan, because Japanese people don't celebrate Christmas so much. So I had a wonderful experience.
My host mother and I went to a lot of places, Canterbury, London, Margate and Lead Castle. It was so fun. To be honest, I am not looking forward to go home. I hope I will go to the UK again. Thank you!

Cambridge Proficiency preparation

Learning English with LLE was an amazing experience. The course was taylored upon me. This gave me the possibility to focus my efforts on what I really needed, without wasting time on subjects that were already way clear to me. The activities included in the course had the effect to get me more involved and passionate in the process of learning and developed in me a deeper appreciation for the British culture and the English world. Of course, I achieved the title I was studying for. I highly recommend studying with Living Learning English
