studied English Academic preparationA place for hope and opportunity
The CCE intensive English Program is not only a place for improving English, more importantly, it is a place for hope and opportunity. Motivation plays an important role in this place. Teachers know how to motivate their students and to help them improve. I could feel myself was motivated by teachers during each level and I could feel my progresses step by step. I have to say that this kind of feeling of self-improvement is amazing. In this process, I became more confident and was more welling to accept new challenges. The motivation was keeping me to feel that I had purpose, to believe I could have a bigger dream and would have the motivation to achieve in the later on university life and even in my professional career. University is just the beginning of life, but CCE intensive English Program is more like a window that helps you to see the future possibilities and helps you to start university life with hope and ambitions.

studied English Academic preparationAmazon program, life-long impact
My name is Xuan Xie (Sam). I come from China. In June 2011, I arrived at Montreal for university education. Before studying at Concordia University, I spent 4 months improving my English at Concordia Continuing Education Centre via enrolling in the CELI program. Facing the huge differences of the education systems between Canada and China, the CELI program really backed me up by equipping me with various of knowledge and skills that I needed to know in order to succeed in university, such how to work in a group, how to deliver a presentation, how to read effectively and how to write an academic paper. I enjoyed every moment studying there because not only the learning curve was very steep, but also different kinds of activities were always organized to help international students to get involved in local communities and adapted to the Canadian culture. Aside from that, since it was an intensive learning program, so you work very closely with the instructors and classmates who were always very supportive to your study, as well as your foreign life experience. From there, you could really make friends and make life-long connections with them. Now, 4 years has passed since I graduated from the CELI program, and I am going to finish my Bachelor of Commerce degree at John Molson School of Business, Concordia University next month with an outstanding academic performance. I would say that without the help from the CELI program, I would not have reached where I am today.

studied English Academic preparationabout concordia language center.
I tried several language teaching centers. Concordia is the best! they give you the information gradually. They help you to learn step by step. I started with them from level 4. Now I'm in level 6 and will complete to the end. most of teachers are friendly nice and honest. Lili Janis and Perry are the best so far :).

These are wonderful courses with friendly, enthusiastic and helpful teachers and great peers. It also has good facilities to support teaching and learning. There are lab rooms with a mentor who are always willing to help students after class time. Besides, there are many interesting outside activities of school that are waiting for us.
