Our intensive English Language courses are taught by our highly qualified, specialist English Language teachers. English class sizes have a maximum of 8 students. Each child will receive plenty of teacher support to help them move on to the next level and achieve their English language goals. The core skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing are covered daily and all students are encouraged to develop in each area. Our teachers deliver dynamic lessons which are purposeful and engaging, ensuring that students learn the language within meaningful contexts based on real life situations. Each lesson will have a mixture of whole class, independent and small group work. Every student will be given the opportunity to improve in every area, every day.
Students take specialist classes in preparation for Cambridge exams (YLE, KET, PET, FCE and IELTS) and the College has enjoyed excellent rates of success year after year. The courses give our pupils the English language ability to excel with confidence in their chosen UK Independent school.
