TASIS The American School in England is a boarding and country day school set in a picturesque rural and safe environment, only 10 minutes from Heathrow International Airport and less than one hour from central London. Our academic year boarding program enrols students aged 14-18 in preparation for college and university in the USA, Canada, or the UK. Our intensive ESL summer programs, which are run in conjunction with academic and enrichment courses for students who have a good command of the English language, are designed for students aged 12-18 and enrol more than 40 different nationalities. Academic work is complemented by a wide range of extra-curricular activities, sports, excursions and travel which are an integral and financially-inclusive part of the whole program.

Situated at the center of the campus, the English-as-an-Additional Language department is an integral part of the TASIS England Upper School.The overall aim of the EAL Program at TASIS is to enable every international student to graduate fluent in English and prepared to excel at university and in their chosen professions.
Each year, graduating international students go on to study at prestigious universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and their own home countries. Our EAL teachers pride themselves on the secure, family environment they strive to create within the International Center. Students who join our program will not only grow academically, they will also learn about themselves and the cultures of others. They will be stretched and challenged and, ultimately, enriched in many ways.
