These English courses are available all year round. The LSP 20 and 30 are General and Intensive courses, visa compliant and offer the following structure. Morning lessons focus on grammar and language skills. In the afternoon students can take PET, FCE, CAE, TOEIC, IELTS or Cambridge exam preparation classes.

If you do not wish to follow an examination course you can choose from one of our skills based courses in the afternoon which change every month. 

These afternoon sessions include specific skills development (listening, pronunciation, reading

and writing), Business English, discussions, conversation and role plays.

The LSP 10 is an afternoon only class not visa compliant but available for those students who

wish to have a more gentle approach to learning the language and may work within the area or wish to use their spare time to visit the area for tourist or business reasons.

inlingua Cheltenham is an open centre for the Cambridge ESOL exams which provide English qualifications that are recognised by thousands of employers, universities and colleges worldwide and are accepted in more than 130 countries. Being an authorised centre for the Cambridge ESOL exams, candidates have the advantage of preparing and taking the exam onsite. As an added bonus inlingua Cheltenham has introduced frequent pre-testing.

Cambridge certificates are the most widely recognised qualification worldwide for English as a Foreign Language. These exams assess your ability to communicate effectively in English in realistic situations, and will provide you with the ideal preparation to use English in your professional and academic life. Cambridge exams are held in March, June, August and

December with various exams taking place in the following courses; KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE and BEC IELTS &TOEIC IELTS is the International English Language Testing System, while TOEIC is the Test of English for International Communication. Both exams measure your ability to communicate in English across all four language skills - listening, reading, writing, speaking; and are meant for individuals who intend to study or work where English is the main language of communication. IELTS and TOEIC certifications are valid for a period of 2 years.

Over the past 10 years inlingua Cheltenham has developed a strong relationship with local schools who require students to have a good understanding of English before they enter Public, Private or State Schools in the UK. inlingua Cheltenham has a vast amount of experience in dealing with young adults who are required to achieve an IELTS or Cambridge language level before entering an English School for their GCSE or A Level study programme.

We strongly recommend that if you have a student that wishes to join this type of programme you should choose the LSP30 course in this brochure and we would be happy to help in the academic preparation for the entrance test. If you would like to be taught academic subjects such as Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies and the Sciences these can be taught by qualified academic staff at an extra charge.

This EAP (English for Academic Purposes) course gives you the opportunity to study academic subjects and prepare for the entrance test that the school will expect.

Our Tailor Made programmes are designed specifically for the client. This could be a school group, students from the region, college students, those currently doing a degree or a group of teachers. The courses we have designed are Tailor Made for the school, college or educational institution and inlingua Cheltenham can organise everything for your stay, except your flight to and from the country. The course can last as long as you want from 5 days to 14 days or longer if you wish. These courses can be taught as a closed group or as an internationally mixed group. The group sizes can be from 15 to 60 persons.
