TLC-South Bend is located in the heartland of the USA, on the campus of Indiana University South Bend (IUSB). South Bend is the home of ten colleges and universities, and your Level 9 Certificate can be used in lieu of the TOEFL/IELTS at IUSB and six other cooperating colleges in the area.

TLC’s General English integrates the development of listening and speaking skills, structural accuracy, and everyday communication. If your goal is to be able to successfully communicate English in everyday situations, TLC’s General English course is for you!

These courses are designed to assist students in navigating the variety of testing requirements for admission to American universities. Courses cover the following topics: advanced grammar and reading review, test question analysis, test-taking strategies, practice tests and analysis of test results.
Business Englisch

TLC’s Business English is designed for students who wish to improve their general English skills as well as their ability to use the English language in the Business and Marketing fields. This program will explore business cultural practices and help to improve the student’s communication skills in specific areas of business. For students who place in TLC levels 1-5, the program consists of Intensive listening, speaking, grammar, reading, and writing courses. Upon entering TLC Level 6, students complete courses in listening, speaking and grammar as well as four, field-specific courses addressing various topics related to the language of business. These will include such topics as Business and Marketing, Leadership and Teamwork, Finance and Accounting, and Correspondence, Reports, and Presentations.
Profi Englisch
This course is for students aged: 16-70

Many students who complete TLC Level 9--the highest level in TLC’s Intensive Program--choose to remain at TLC for further study of specific aspects of English. Many of these students are preparing for post-graduate study at an American university and would like to study more extensive English to prepare for their advanced or graduate study at the university. For these students, TLC centers have designed their APL courses to meet students' needs and requests.
Advanced Proficiency Level courses include, but are not limited to, the following offerings:
Conversation and Pronunciation or Oratory and Debate, which are designed to improve speaking skills
Composition and Advanced Writing, which are designed for students who require a higher academic level of writing skills for advanced study at a university
There are also courses that focus on Advanced Reading or Literature, as well as Academic Test Preparation

For an adult with a busy lifestyle who wants or needs to learn English, TLC-Orlando’s English Works is the perfect program. English Works sets itself apart from community-based English programs in three ways: class size, program price and program theme. TLC-Orlando is dedicated to offering the local Orlando community the opportunity to learn English at an affordable price. Upon completion of the English Works Program, TLC provides each participant with a certificate which will be a plus for any resume or job application.

The Language Company's Study Vacation Program combines educational opportunities with the chance to experience a vacation in the United States. This program is designed for students who are 12 through 18 years of age who want to enjoy a learning vacation in an interesting and exciting environment with other students from around the world. The English language study is focused both on English for communication and English structure skills. These two areas of English study, combined with vacation activities, provide an excellent opportunity for teens.
