That's Mandarin is one of the oldest Chinese language and technology schools in China. With a unique approach to language learning and our own in-house teaching methodologies; we aim to be not only the most experienced, but also one of the best Mandarin schools in China!
We focus on providing the smoothest service and the best teaching experience to all our students; no matter whether they are studying Chinese online with our innovative online language learning system or at one of our Chinese language schools in China.
Founded in Beijing in 2005, That's Mandarin has been growing strong ever since. We now have schools in Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou with plans to open more locations in more cities soon.

We offer Online Mandarin Chinese courses open to beginner and intermediate students of all ages and from all over the world.
We have developed our own online learning platform called Nihao Cafe which enables students preview before classes by playing around different activities, helps students write down all the notes digitally on the platform, and let them review all the learning materials as well as notes after class on their PC or in the APP.

That's Mandarin has been organizing Chinese Summer Camp for over 10 years and every year we welcome over 300 individuals from all over the world.
• Classes-only Camp: Chinese lessons only

• Full Camp: Chinese lessons, cultural activities, field trips, 3 meals per day, hotel accommodation, evening and weekend activities
• Homestay Camp: Chinese lessons, cultural activities, field trips, 3 meals per day, homestay accommodation, evening and weekend activities
• Family Camp: Day camp for children and Chinese program for parents

Beginning of 2019 I was looking at several language schools in Beijing and I am beyond happy to have found "That's Mandarin". I attended a four week programme at that's mandarin and I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a good school to study Chinese. Not only are all the teachers very professional and extremely good at improving the students level of writing, reading and speaking Chinese but they also teach you about Chinese culture and give insight in their way of life. This combination created an unforgettable learning experience!

Awesome school!! Ecole parfaite! 5 étoiles! I just loved it! When I arrived in Shanghai from France 2 months ago I compared a lot of Chinese language school, didn’t really know witch one to choose. That’s Mandarin was one of the less expensive and the location was great so I picked this one hoping it would be good... It is!!!!! Even much better than what I was expecting and hoping for! Location is perfect! The way they teach is very nice, even if Chinese is hard, I think the method is really efficient! Teacher is the sweetest and funniest, just love her! The school in itself is bright, really clean and brand new with a very nice coffee and tea place to meet other students during the little break time or just review if you want during the day (cappuccino is free and delicious by the way!). The app and website of the school is just really really convenient and fun to use! Amazing tool for learning!!! And on top of all that everyone is very smiley and kind, always ready to help! I’m telling you: I loooove it!!!!!! I really recommend it 100 %! Tai hao le!!!!!!!!!!

To all Chinese language learners, to those who plan to come to China to study, I would like to recommend “That’s Mandarin”(Shanghai). You have to try group class. You will learn more vocabularies that are very useful and new words from your group mates that has same level or near-level as yours. When I lived in my country, I am HSK 4 passer and took very long time to self-study in HSK 5. When I went to this school, my level is from HSK5 to HSK 6. Group class will help your Mandarin become more intensive and we don’t use English during our class. I have never been to other schools in China but I have previous classmate from other country and she went to other schools and she said that so far “That’s Mandarin” is the best school to learn Mandarin in Shanghai.

In five weeks at That's Mandarin in Shenzhen I learned more than I could have imagined in such a short period of time. My teachers were adept at helping me lean quickly. There was also lots of speaking, reading and writing practice to reinforce what I had already learned. In addition, the That's Mandarin app, Mandarin Cafe, was a great resource to practice on my own as well as to review what I learned in class.
Everyone at That's Mandarin in Shenzhen made learning Mandarin an enjoyable, fun and rewarding experience.
I would definitely recommen That's Mandarin to anyone interested in learning Mandarin.

I signed up for intensive 1on1 classes, had sampled several teachers and they were all professional and knowledgeable. All your notes are stored online for future access. Would recommend.
