Northumbria School of English

Excellent alternative!!!

Northumbria School is an excellent alternative in UK to take English courses!!.
My teachers were very professional and kindly and the place is amazing. The school in Whitley Bay is near to Newcastle and has a perfect location to visit interesting places where I could see the beautiful landscape between England and Scotland during the free time.
I learned English in the classrooms and outside them sharing with kindly people of the community around the school. I strongly recommend Northumbria School for everyone that wants to improve English!!.

Brilliant!

I've been taking my students to Whitley Bay from Italy for several years now and my satisfaction and appreciation has become greater and greater. Starting from the homestays, welcoming and patient. Wide range of activities that are fun and exciting. But, most of all the quality of the lessons at NORTHUMBRIA SCHOOL.
My students attended PET & FCE prep. courses and successfully passed with brilliant results. My next plan on the list is to take them back for short stays during the cooler months so they can keep up to standards and keep on improving.
Keep Calm and go to Northumbria School!

The Best English School and Staff Ever

This is an excellent school for learning English and IELTS Preparation.
I studied with them for about 11 months, but actually I got a score of 6.5 in IELTS within 5 weeks only (I got 5.0 when I first started).
Aside from that the staff is lovely and very friendly, and there are a lot of activities that you will forget that you are in a school... it is like a picnic and it made IELTS preparation a piece of cake.
I highly recommend this school whether you intend to improve your general English skills or IELTS/academic English skills.

The best choice

If I were asked, what is the best language school in England, I would say without hesitation, that it is Northumbria School of English. There are 3 aspects, that I mentioned, when I had got there for the 1st time (August 2011):
1)The quality of teaching English: interesting lessons and absolute professionals, who are extremely patient and kind. I had been doing Exam Preparation Course FCE and due to it I've achieved impressive results.
2)The atmosphere. The level of comfort and cosiness can not be described. In some time you may feel yourself like home, because Christine cares and tries to do everything so students can feel as good as possible.
3)The location. Location of the school is just perfect. Any type of transport can be easily reached (even the boat! :) )
Of course, I can't forget about great variety of breathtaking activities, during which you can make friends with other students and in the end of the day you sense that pleasant tiredness, which comes after great excursion or trip to Scotland.

I have been there twice and I feel like coming back again and again because I have fallen in love with the time spent in Northumbria School of English.

amazing experiance

I spent two amazing months in this school . The school has realy helpful staff members who make you feel like you are one of their big family . The thing that i loved the most was that you won't feel board in your free time because of the busy schedual which was full of various activties .By the end of my two monthes , my English was improved a lot and i was thrilled by all the great things that i was able to experiance with this amazing school

Great experience

I spent 2 weeks at the english + surfing course. It was a really great experience and I learned very much. The surfing was great, but also the after school activities and the trips to Newcastle. The lessons were very interesting and I took great advantage of them. Christine is very kind and cares about everybody. It was my second time there and it won´t be the last.
! It was a really great time !

Awesome

I would strongly recommend this fantastic school in the north of England.
My experience was amazing. I met brilliant teachers and lots of new friends from all over the world.
The social programs are really great and truly engaging: Lots of different activites all of which greatly interesting and entertaining.
The actual school is cozy and Christine really cares about each and every student. Sort of a family in the end! :)

My awesome school

I love my Northumbria school because they were really helpful and friendly. I also liked their way of teaching and their tours castles,the stadium of Newcastle, shopping centers and lots of places. The food was great and my homestay were really helpful and amazing. I wish one day back to Newcastle again. love you xXx

I really loved food, our bedrooms, our activities after classes. I liked visiting football match. I hope I will go here once again!
