University of California, Irvine (UCI) is one of the top 10 public universities in the United States. In the last eleven years, three Nobel Prizes have been awarded to UCI faculty members. UCI is located in Irvine, one of the continually ranked among the safest cities in the nation. It is in the heart of Orange County (the OC) close to the Pacific Ocean's world famous beaches, between Los Angeles and San Diego.
