If you want a different kind of English course, sign up! It is a complete experience all day long, classes, meals, activities, trips, all in 100% English. Both teachers and Gavin, Sonia and her mother are very kind, respectful, patient and fun. They are always willing to help you, as if you were in their family. The atmosphere is very motivating and the classes are well structured. I would definitely recommend this course to those who want to advance quickly and confidently in their command of English. An excellent experience!

Inolvidable

Necesitaba mejorar mi inglés ya que había estudiado gramática durante muchos años pero a la hora de hablar se me hacía cuesta arriba.
Contacté con Movingon Courses por recomendación de mi marido que estuvo allí y le encantó la experiencia. Y debo decir que no le faltó razón.
Inmersión total en inglés. Al principio me daba miedo no tener suficiente nivel para convivir 24h sin hablar mi lengua materna, pero puedo asegurar que teniendo una base lo consigues con su excelente ayuda. Tanto los profesores como los anfitriones, Gavin y Sonia, te hacen sentir como en casa. Clases amenas y variadas. Excursiones a sitios únicos, con profesores, para no dejar de aprender.
Respecto al alojamiento está en Bangor, un pueblo costero muy tranquilo pero muy bien comunicado con Belfast. El hotel es muy acogedor y dispone de todas las comodidades. Tengo que destacar la excelente cocinera que es Sonia. Comida sana y muy variada.
Recomiendo esta experiencia 100%.
Yo me he quedado con ganas de volver.

Excelente elección

Esta ha sido la tercera vez que vuelvo encantado de pasar unos días en MovingOn Courses.
No hay nada igual en cuanto a cursos inmersivos!
Vives, haces clases y comes con los profesores. Además tienes la oportunidad de visitar sitios con ellos, lo que convierte cada excursión en horas de clase en ambientes diferentes y con paisajes únicos.
Sonia y Gavin son unos excelentes anfitriones y hacen tu estancia allí cómoda y a la vez muy útil para mejorar tu inglés.
Las cases son reducidas (máximo 4 estudiantes) y eso siempre es una ventaja para poder participar más y que puedan estar pendientes de errores recurrentes que todo estudiante tiene que perfeccionar.
Bangor es un pueblo muy bonito y la localización de su hotel está solo a 2 minutos andando del mar.
Si he ido 3 veces y me quedo con ganas de volver es por algo.
100% recomendable por su ambiente (100% en inglés) pero también por el buen rollo y la excelente comida preparada por Sonia.

MovingOn

Mira. Según un reciente estudio, el 85% de los españoles no tiene ni idea de inglés. De ese porcentaje, el 100% miente a la hora de indicar su nivel de inglés en su C.V. Los más honestos, ponen inglés "nivel básico", vamos, se saben los colores, los números, "I am", "you are", algún "have gone", y poco más. Y luego están los más valientes, que en su C.V. ponen "nivel medio". Jajajajaja! Un cosita te quiero decir. No existe el "nivel medio" de inglés. O sabes, o no sabes. En mi caso yo tenía "nivel sudoroso". Si alguien me preguntaba algo en inglés, inmediatamente me ponía a sudar. Y digo "tenía", porque he estado 2 semanas en MovingOn Courses. La experiencia ha sido súper chula, el pueblo, Bangor, una maravilla, con las típicas casa inglesas que he estado viendo en series y películas toda mi vida. MovingOn es muy diferente. Todos los cursos que encontraba por internet consistían en ir a una especie de academia por las mañanas a dar clase, y poco más. Sin embargo, Moving On consistía en convivir en una especie de hostal con los propietarios (Gavin y Sonia) y con alumnos como yo. Todo el día hablando en inglés. Y allí estuve, conviviendo, comiendo, cenando,... en realidad, tengo que decir tuve mucha suerte, porque coincidí con una banda de compañeros, maravillosos, con los que me reí muchísimo. Encantadísima

Recomiendo esta experiencia totalmente! Aprendes inglés a la vez que compartes con personas que te hacen sentir como en casa y que se preocupan no solo porque mejores tu nivel sino también porque estés bien y disfrutes tu estancia. Me parece que no lo pueden hacer mejor! Es la segunda vez que vengo y no descarto volver.

Experiencia muy recomendable

He pasado unos días fantásticos totalmente en inglés con Gavin, Sonia y mis compañeros de curso. Las clases se daban por la mañana con dos profesores diferentes (una para gramática y otro para aplicar la gramática a la lengua oral) y por las tardes hacíamos excursiones con Sonia. Todas las comidas se hacían con los profesores por lo que cada comida era una nueva situación para aprender inglés.
La casa está muy bien situada en un pueblecito costero muy agradable y tranquilo, al que no le falta fiesta nocturna. Las habitaciones tienen baño y son cómodas, con cama grande, televisión, armario y mesa de estudio.

El ambiente es agradable y se fomenta la participación de todo el grupo. He estado solo una semana y he mejorado mi inglés bastante.

Muy muy recomendable.

A wonderful experience

I have spent a week at Movingoncourses studying English and it has been a wonderful experience.

Sonia and Gavin have been lovely and welcomed me as part of their family.
The English classes have been very enjoyable and productive.
The house is very close to different services and commercial areas. But I recommend that you try Sonia's food. She is an amazing chef
This experience has been a discovery and I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn or refresh their English. The Movingoncourse team makes you feel at home. It is something that I will repeat again because one week has done little for me.

MovingOn Course Bangor

I attended MovingOn Courses between October and November 2023. It was a useful course because you live in the same house as your teachers, have all your meals with them, and participate in all activities with them. The small class sizes (a maximum of 4, in my case only 2 people) provide more opportunities to speak and ask questions during lessons. The MovingOn Courses is a truly immersive 100% English program all day long (Gavin is very strict about this, but it's what all students want). The atmosphere at the guesthouse is enjoyable, particularly because the course is dedicated to adult students. Sonia is an enthusiastic teacher and also a good chef (which is very important!!).

Bangor is a pleasant place for studying and learning English. I hope to come back someday. I highly recommend it.

Movingon

MovingOn courses is different, because in this course it is possible speak 100% english. I spent 2weeks here where I could improve a lot my english. During the morning there are the lessons with teachers by a group max4 people with the same level. I was lucky, I took a lot of 1:1 class because we were different level among students. 2 days a week there are the trips with Sonia and the other students, where it is possible discover beautiful place and practice english in different context. Lunch and dinner with everyone was very funny. It was another opportunity to practice and learn English. Sonia, Gavin and the teachers are expert, professional and friendly. They will make you feel at home in every moment.
