I was taking English class during summer of 2014. I recommend that IELC is great place to start college life in the U.S. because teachers and staff were so helpful and kind. They are always welcome to student's questions, and they taught us not only study but also daily life like how to get driver's licence. I also like thier activities such as sports day, coffee hour, and olympics. Those made students making new friends easily.

IELC

I took English classes at IELC in this summer. Through this summer program, I learned a lot of things and met many awesome people. First of all, the IELC teachers are so great. I mean I took 4 different teachers' classes in this summer; all teachers are kind, and their classes are interesting. I could get much knowledge which is useful for college or university students by the classes. Also, workers in IELC help me in many ways. They told me the information that need not only to study as a student but also to survive in United States. For example, they told me the way of buying cellphone. In addition, I encountered wonderful friends who came from all over the world.
Although I studied just 10 weeks at IELC, I will never forget the precious time in Reno.

My best experience in UNR

I was in IELC only for 10 weeks, but it's quite a good time for me to improve my English skill. There are excellent teachers to teach you, nice staffs to help you, and of course a lot of international students to make friends. the UNR campus is not so big, but it's quite nice. I really enjoyed walking on the campus. During the short days in IELC, I got my English improved and enjoyed the courses.
If someone ask me to suggest an English center for studying, I have no doubt to say IELC in UNR. Actually, I have recommended a friend to IELC.
