MouvingOn Courses es exactamente el tipo de colegio que estaba buscando para mejorar mi inglés. Un colegio pequeño, con pocos estudiantes en clase (máximo 4 estudiantes por clase), con profesores que conocen su profesión, pues tiene muchos años de experiencia, y a los que les gusta transmitir y enseñar. Como el grupo es reducido los profesores puede atender algunas de las necesidades específicas que les solicitas.

El colegio se sitúa en un bonito hotel cerca del pequeño puerto de la encantadora ciudad de Bangor, a 40 minutos en tren de Belfast.

He pasado con ellos dos magnificas semanas en las que he hablado inglés desde que me levantaba hasta que me acostaba, incluso si estaba compartiendo clases y momentos de ocio con compatriotas dentro o fuera de la escuela, incluidos los fines de semana. Increíble, ¿no?

Las jornadas están perfectamente planificadas con clases por la mañana, 3 tardes con viajes de estudio acompañados por los profesores. Los viajes de estudio son variados y permiten descubrir los paisajes naturales o lugares culturales de la zona. No solo son momentos de relax que te permiten comunicar y conocer de forma más personal a tus compañeros de clase, sino que también tienes que presentar algún aspecto relacionado con el paseo. ¡Inmersión, inmersión!

El colegio también tiene varios voluntarios que vienen una vez por semana para hablar con los estudiantes, lo que permite conocer a gente que vive localmente.

Sonia que es una cocinera excelente nos preparó algunas recetas tradicionales irlandesas. Su cocina es deliciosa, sabrosa y sana.

Doy las gracias a Sonia y Gavin, por su amabilidad, generosidad y su dedicación con las personas que acogen. También a Olga y Brian por su paciencia, buen humor y profesionalidad en sus clases.

Movingon

The was like a big family, we spoke English all the time. We had all the meals together, some classes one to one, others in group. The house und rooms are big and beautiful. The host are teachers too and very friendly.

Immersion English 100%

I was looking for an intensive English course, and really, I found more than this in Moving On Courses. The teachers challenge you and help you to have a very nice experience with a total immersion in English. In the house, you feel as at home. The town is a very nice coast place, full of chances to expend you little free time. And the most important, the teachers encourage you all time to improve your English in an amazing atmosphere.

If you want to improve your English in a full immersion course at the cost of just an hotel accommodation, with MovingOn Courses you can. We enjoyed two weeks in an all inclusive formula Stay and Learn, having a comfortable bedroom ensuite. We had intensive sessions daily with five different professional teachers. There are study trips (by car) almost every day to interesting places around Bangor and near Belfast (which is about 30 mins by car o train). There is a friendly atmosphere during classes, lunches and dinner prepared by the kind and super efficient Sonia. During the stay, you have to speak always in English with colleagues and teachers and you might interact with people living there, with teacher beside. After two fantastic weeks we are now really more confident with English, we learned a lot of new words and idioms. Definitely, we had a stimulating summer time!

A great experience

I’m a 18-years-old girl and I spent 2 weeks in the MovingOn course.
At first I was a little bit worried about the course because I thought that i wasn’t in the right place because of my age; but at least i enjoyed a lot this 2 weeks.
We always stayed together like a family with the other hosts and teachers doing a lot of activities.The rule that was everything in English was very useful because was the best way to improve quickly.
The lessons were very interesting and we had always the opportunity to speak and express ourselves without problems.
If you want to learn English this course is the best you can find! If you are 18 or 81 it doesn’t matter because Sonia Gavin and the others will always make you feel welcome and part of a big family!

Amazing Course and people

I was in Bangor last August and I felt at home, because we were like a small family. I really liked the learning method, the teachers were also very good and professional (Karem, Amy and Bryan) and I learned a lot and well in a very comfortable environment. I also met lovely people and made good friends that I would like to see again. I want to thank Sonia and Gavin for their hospitality and certify that the course is really 100% in English. In addition to the classes there was also time for leisure and to have fun. I still remember with joy the Friday nights in the pub and the movie sessions on Tuesdays, and the movie Mamma Mia!
In short, a highly recommended experience. Worth it! And by the way,

Learn English in a short time in an extremely pleasant environment.

Notions of English are not only limited to classes but continue throughout the day and every day in all common activities like during meals and the many excursions. Classes are mostly taught by two outside teachers whom I liked very much, but in case of need Sonia and Gavin also give lessons, they are present during meals and during common activities by imparting spontaneous lessons outside the classroom, also in the absence of the teachers for example on weekends but not only we continue to speak English among participants and this helps as well to accelerate the learning process.
Exemplary is the kindness, helpfulness, and passion that the owners Sonia and Gavin offer all the time.
Regarding the infrastructure, Bangor and its surroundings are quiet and delightful, the accommodations are cozy, clean, all meals are cooked by Sonia who cooks impeccably, and the all-inclusive formula perfectly delivers what it promises i.e., little money is spent on extras.

If you want a different kind of English course, sign up! It is a complete experience all day long, classes, meals, activities, trips, all in 100% English. Both teachers and Gavin, Sonia and her mother are very kind, respectful, patient and fun. They are always willing to help you, as if you were in their family. The atmosphere is very motivating and the classes are well structured. I would definitely recommend this course to those who want to advance quickly and confidently in their command of English. An excellent experience!

I was improving my English during an intensive week at MovingOn Courses. Staying at the school itself, as well as having breakfast, lunch and dinner with your teachers and classmates is enriching. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the meals are not bad at all. I had 3 different teachers during the week, and in class we were between 2 and 4 students, all over 25 years old, which I consider very positive for the interaction between students and teachers. The activities outside of class are fun, useful and enjoyable (especially going out for a few beers :)), Bangor is a nice little town, and the centre is a 5 minute walk away. This is literally a 100% English course! I recommend it, and if I can, I will repeat!
