We offer a
wide range of courses and programmes including General English, Business
English, Examination Preparation (Cambridge, TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS), Executive
English for Professionals, Home Tuition Programmes, Comenius funded Teacher Training (TKT, CLIL,
Refresher), English for Special Purposes, Individual courses, Family Programmes, Junior Summer Programmes as well as
student ministay groups and High School Programmes.
We are the authorised Cambridge ESOL examination centre in Cork, offering the
FCE, CAE, CPE and BULATS examinations. We are also an official TOEIC testing centre.
We pride
ourselves on providing courses and services of the highest standard to our
clients. Our teaching and administrative staff ensure a
welcoming and friendly atmosphere and are proud of the individual care and
attention given to each student. Our team have many years of experience with

I studied at ACET school for four weeks. My experience was wonderful.
It is a beautiful building in the city centre and close to everything. On my first trip abroad alone I was nervous but the school staff, my host family and new school friends made my experience amazing. I spoke inglish all the time. I recomend for all my friends to study in Cork :)

I took a Cambridge Class to do the examination FCE
My teacher was really good and patient with me and corrected my mistakes. I improved my English a lot.
It was so good to take the exam in the school - Everyday, the girls in the office were very friendly and smiling - so kind and helpful.
I recommend this school to everybody.

Hi, my name is Clara and I've been a student in the ACET since April. I simply really like this school. Thanks to the ACET, my trip in Cork is awesome. Indeed, my english has improved a lot thanks to qualified teachers and to other students, because we are only allowed to speak english in the school even if there are so many different nationalities. Thanks to the ACET, I've met lots of new people who became my friends. This experience has really been rewarding for me, and this is partly thanks to this school. I really recommend the ACET and I will come back if I can.

I'm Noemi and I'm Catalan. I came to Cork to study English and do my work experience, only for 4 weeks. My level of English is not very good, but thanks to this school has improved.
Acet is a great school, teachers are very skilled and the method of teaching is very good. The classes are not boring, on the contrary, they are fun. Know people from different nationalities and share with them the lessons, activities offered by the school, etc ... make my stay a rewarding stay in cork.
I am staying in a host family, and the truth that I have no complaints. At dinner we always talk about my day in the school, my work ... and that helps me improve my vocabulary and my English.
My stay in Cork and at school, has been a great experience and if I have the opportunity I will do it again.
