Anda Sprachschule

Sobre Anda Sprachschule
Anda Sprachschule is a welcoming language school where a wide variety of languages are taught in a very close and friendly atmosphere.
Our school consists of two different locations in two of the most central neighborhoods in Berlin: Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg. Both neighborhoods exemplify Berlin’s underground culture and are known for the wide range of pubs, coffee shops and parks to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
At Anda Sprachschule we offer German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese courses for adults, as well as for companies. Our teachers are all native speakers and highly qualified and experienced, and have a true passion for teaching languages. At Anda you will have the chance to learn languages in small groups of 6 students on average. From the very beginning our two main focuses are communication and a solid grammatical base. We use flexible teaching methods and provide personal attention, so that all our students can achieve their goals and make the most of their stay at our school. All of our courses are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
We want our students not only to be able to communicate and socialize in the target language, but also to have the chance to experience a cultural exchange, since we firmly consider learning a new language more than just learning the language itself. In order to encourage that integration, we organize different cultural activities every week, so that the students can get to know a bit more about the city and its culture. On top of that, we see it as a great opportunity for them to get to know each other better. We also offer accommodation for students, both in shared flats or in guest families, and there is also a weekly Help desk where we give support and information to students seeking advice.
We offer a wide range of courses throughout the day at very competitive and affordable rates. There is also the possibility to take a free trial lesson. Visit us and give it a try!

estudiado Cursos de Alemán generalThey closed the school and stole my money
Couple days ago, I got this email from them:
"Dear students,
We hope you and your families are healthy in these difficult times. We have to share some bad news with you. Unfortunately, the closing down of Anda School by German authorities has taken away our business foundation. We are no longer allowed to offer physical courses to our students, while at the same time we still have our obligations like classroom rent, administration team and teacher salaries. This is an unsustainable situation for us which is why we are forced to close our beloved school after 10 years. This makes us very sad.
You had booked a course at Anda which we cannot offer you anymore. We offer you that we pay back 50% of the down payment you have made to Anda.
The alternative is that we (you and Anda) go through the process of insolvency, which normally is taking many years in Germany to resolve and only leaves you the chance to claim a fraction of the payment you made to Anda. Since many companies are going insolvent in Germany due to the Corona crisis, the Administration will probably take even longer than usual, with dealing with insolvent companies. Beside you need to find and pay a lawyer. This is something you do not want, nur do we. Therefore, we both have an interest in resolving this matter direct with you. Please let us know your response and if you have any questions, If you agree let us know and provide us your bank account details so that we can refund your down payment within 20 days.
If you agree with our proposal, please sign the letter of debt relief which you can find attached and send it back to us.
This offer is valid till 30 th of April 2020."
I paid almost 5000 Euros and I have days answering that email and they just disappear, they don't answer the phone calls, they don't answer the emails, they stole my money.
That is pretty sad because I was saving money since 3 years and those were all my savings, now I'm without money and without classes.
They did not even propose another solution, they don't say if in fact are going to return my 50% or if they are going to take whole my money.
If you are in the same case, feel free in writing me [email protected]

estudiado Cursos de Alemán generalI can highly recommend it!
I had a great experience at Anda Sprachschule.
I took the B1 and B2 intensive German courses and I'm very satisfied. I received the best possible preparation and support for the TELC B2 exam. Everyone at the school is friendly and helpful, the groups are rather small and the teachers are very competent. My teacher, Beate, is extremely patient, always made sure that we understood everything and answered all of my (many) questions.
I can only recommend it! Thank you all :D

It was my second time at Anda. It is a fantastic located school with wonderful teachers who don't hesitate in offering you their help. My teacher's name was Ralph and the best german teacher I have ever had, I learnt a lot and didn't get bored in all the hours of class. I couldn't recommend more this school!

estudiado Cursos de Alemán generalVery good teacher and amazing group
I had the pleasure to go to school in Friedrichshain, for my bildungsurlab (educational leave, for 5 days a year allowed by the german goverment to go and learn new things).
I didn't know what to expect, but I was nicely greeted by the nice ladies working in the office and they've explained everything to me. I even got a walk around the school and got introduced to all facilities and what the school can offer.
But, when the course started I realized I had the best group and the best teacher. It felt like fun, and I was eager to learn more and to be there everyday, rather than feeling like it's school in its standard term. The teacher, made things simple for us by explaining in german in such a way we could grasp it, he would give us real life examples and made sure we use the right form of it in conversations.
The area has bakeries, a small shop/edeka, coffee places and most importantly close to the Tram station.
I recommend this school and its employees with all my heart. In fact I decided to continue to learn german at this school.

estudiado Cursos de Alemán generalVery positive experience
I've attended to intensive German courses in Anda for 3 months and my experience was overall very positive.
Advantages:
1. A small sized language school, almost no bureaucracy, a warm and friendly aproach to the students, they are flexible and very helpful in solving problems.
2. I had a first class teacher, very motivated, experienced, creative, patient... Carlos was always very well prepared to the lessons, I don't remember even one boring lesson with him.
3. In Anda there is an option to borrow the books rather than buying them.
4. There is a kitchen in both buildings in Anda, it's always possible to find coffee and tea, the kitchen is aslo the perfect location for socialising.
