About LTC Brighton

Study English in the UK's South Coast Student City

LTC Brighton is a friendly, medium-sized school not far from the city centre and next to the residential area where most of our homestay is located.

We usually have between 40 and 260 students depending on the season. The school has an excellent mix of students from many different countries – in 2014 58% of adult students came from Western Europe, 16% from Eastern Europe (including Turkey), 13% from Latin America, 9% from the Far East, 4% from Asia and 1% from other parts of the world.

In 2014, students from 53 different countries studied on our English courses at LTC London

Our permanent teachers have postgraduate and Master’s degree qualifications in teaching English and an average of 20 years’ experience. All the others have an English language teaching qualification that meets the requirements of the British Council accreditation scheme (minimum CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent). Many have several years of experience. A number of our teachers are also examiners for the Cambridge, IELTS and Trinity examinations.

Our school has 18 classrooms and a capacity of 210 students, or 260 in the summer, when we hire extra classrooms near the school.

LTC Brighton can offer homestay accommodation within easy walking distance of the school and is only 15 minutes by bus from the city centre and 8 minutes’ walk from the beach.

Our administration staff are experienced, helpful and efficient and will help make your stay in England successful on both an educational and personal level.
