CANNES : Capital of cinema, city of stars and luxury, Cannes is famous across the globe for

its International Film Festival. The third largest city in the Alpes-Maritimes after Nice and Antibes, Cannes offers a wide range of tourism and cultural activities. With the Mediterranean

lapping at its feet it is also a great coastal resort which provides many opportunities to learn to sail, windsurf, kite surf or simply relax on its famous beaches.

IFR is situated in the heart of Cannes, adjacent to the main railway station and a stone throw from ‘La Croissette’ and the city’s main beaches.

The Institute has 19 bright, spacious and comfortable classrooms that can easilyaccommodate

up to 12 students.Each are equipped with air-conditioning, state of the art interactive digital boards, white boards, video, audio and E-materials.

Group Lessons:Student groups are formed based on participants’ level of French, following a placement test to ensure uniformity among the group. Group numbers are limited to 10 students to ensure effective personal teaching and to grant each student the attention and time they deserve.

Individual Lessons: Course leaders adapt their teaching methods to your specific needs, your skills and your cultural preferences to create a tailor-made programme in the best possible learning environment.

Teaching Formats: Lesson lasts for 45 minutes.

‘A la carte’ courses:

- You choose the number of lessons and their topics.

- Lessons are scheduled for your convenience, at the pace of your choice.

- Fees are adjusted depending on the number of lessons requested.

- Available in individual or group lessons already set up

- Available for general French, business French or themed lessons

Create your ‘à la carte’ language course: 3 options available :

1/ General French Courses = 20 lessons (15 hours) weekly, minimum 2 week stay.

2/ Intensive = our General French Course, add an extra 10 lessons (7 ½ hours) afternoon

lessons weekly or 5 hour package private tuition.

3/ Intensive +: General French Course, add an extra 10 lessons (7 ½ hours) afternoon lessons

and 5 hour package private tuition.

Accommodation : Home away from home.

Different accommodation options are on offer ranging from host-families, shared apartments and private studios to hotels both budget and up-market establishments.We believe that for your stay to be profitable and rewarding you must be more than happy with your accommodation arrangements. For this reason we take great care in selecting different types of quality accommodation ensuring that they all meet the standards you would expect and appreciate.Riviera French Institute can reserve accommodation for the duration of your stay, according to your tastes and budget.

Select the option that suits you best:

-A hotel room in the city centre near our premises: we can offer a range of 2 to 5 star establishments with various services available (B&B, half-board, laundry, etc.)

-A self-catering studio in a Hotel Residence or Holiday Residence, for greater independence. These are located in the town centers and can accommodate 1 to 3 people.

-A room in a guesthouse on half board basis, for a friendly family atmosphere. Only French will be spoken so you will have plenty of opportunity to practice and improve your spoken French. You will be accommodated in single rooms and meals will be taken with the host-family.Please do not hesitate to ask for rates and availability in the accommodation of your choice at the time of registration.
