This course is for students aged: 16-70
Levels: Advanced, Basic, Intermediate
Class Sizes: Large, 11-20 students
Weekly Hours: Relaxed 10-15 hrs/wk, General 15-25 hrs/wk

This course is for students who need to improve their all-round English skills.

Key Information :

Course length - 2-50 weeks.

Start dates - every Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a public holiday)

Levels available - beginner to advanced (6 levels).

Improve your English and learn about exam strategies and topics.

Key Information :

Course length - 6 weeks.

Start dates - 8 start dates per year.

Programme - Full-time 20 hours per week.

Levels available - intermediate to advanced .

Course Outline :

The course covers exam topics and strategies including:

Listening skills - listening for opinions, main ideas and specific information.

Speaking skills - giving information, expressing opinions, explaining.

Reading skills - understanding main ideas, specific information and opinions.

Writing skills - presenting information, describing processes, presenting points of view.

Placement And Assessment :

Minimum entry levels apply. Placement in an Exam Preparation class will depend on level assessment. The Exam Preparation level assessment can be taken overseas before arriving in Ireland.
