This course is for students aged: 16-70

Weekly Hours: General 15-25 hrs/wk

Our 12 week IELTS exam preparation course covers the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing along with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
Weeks 1 to 8 are spent learning exam techniques and weeks 9 to 12 are spent doing exam practice.

At the end of week 8 students take an official Cambridge Pre-test.

The IELTS resources we use are as follows:

Cambridge New Insight into IELTS Student Book Pack (including CD)
Cambridge New Insight into IELTS Workbook Pack (including CD)
Cambridge Grammar for IELTS with answers (including CD)
Cambridge Vocabulary for IELTS with answers (including CD)
Our IELTS students sit a practice test on entry. This gives the teachers an indication of their strengths and areas that need to be developed; it also guides them in meeting the student’s needs and ensures that the student has an appropriate level to attain the demands of the IELTS course.

The next available course will run from 14 September to 04 December 2015.

We also offer private tutoring after school but the best way to study for the IELTS exam is to complete the 12 week block course.
