First i love my homestay because i know my homestay is the best homestay in school. Their name are Caren Watkins and Paul Harp. They always help me about everything. As long as i stay with them i was verry happy. They made me happy and confortable. I want to thanks for my first teacher Jolanta. She has a wonderfull heart she always helps me everything when i was at Jolanta's class i felt confident, relax and i was not shy. Of course thanks for all off CLLC staff. I had a great experience in here. I am gonna really miss my homestay, all of CLLC staff and my friends. Thanks for everything :) I never forget you!

CLLC textbooks give you the academic foundation to improve your English. You’ll also be taught by up to three different teachers every level who will each create a stimulating learning environment for you and your classmates.
CLLC’s General English programs consist of 6 levels and 95% of CLLC students move up within 10 weeks in a level. The remaining 5% receive CLLC’s Academic care to help them reach the benchmarks.

General English
Our flexible, student centered General English (GE) schedule gives you 25 hours of class time each week. CLLC’s GE program lets you progress through language levels at your own pace through weekly start dates, weekly move ups, weekly graduation and flexible course schedule options.
CLLC’s General English (GE) program consists of six levels, ranging from Introductory English to Advanced. The GE program develops key competencies in at least five core English language learning areas: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, and Critical Thinking, with an emphasis on academic writing. CLLCs rigorous curriculum is founded on a number of external ESL criteria such as the Canadian Language Benchmarks, TOEFL, and IELTS. The Advanced level students typically achieve a TOEFL score of 70-75 and IELTS score of 6.0, although students have also achieved TOEFL scores as high as 90.

Business English
*This program is offered pending student demand. Please contact each campus for availability. This course uses business case studies that are directly related to the real business world. Each business case study covers a specialized area of business practice.

Participants will:

Work in groups to develop solutions to the specific problems posed by each case study.
Prepare either group or individual presentations of conclusions to the problems posed by each case study.
Learn new ESL business vocabulary, target language, and grammar.
Write reports, emails, and letters setting out conclusions from the case studies.
This course is a 135 hour modular course made up of 12 units, each being 11 hours and 15 minutes per week.
To graduate from CLLC’s ESL Business English program, students must complete all 12 units. A CLLC certificate will be issued if less than 12 units are completed.

Our University Pathway Program (UPP) ensures you are well prepared for university life in Canada. This unique course is for foreign national business professionals such as diplomats, embassy officials, ambassadors, and government employees who would like to increase their English language fluency, skills, and confidence.
