Reading:

3-5 selections, each lasting 20 minutes, multiple choice questions

3 selections, each lasting 20 minutes, various types of questions

Listening:

Between 40 and 60 minutes of listening material, notes are allowed and questions are  multiple choice

30 minutes +extra 10 minutes writing. 40 questions of varying types about 4 pieces of prerecorded material

Writing:

Answers are typed on a computer. Two written tasks – an essay and a response to a topic from the reading section and a lecture

Handwritten responses. Two written tasks – a short essay and a summary based on a visual stimulus

Speaking:

Answer six questions into a microphone, this lasts about 20 minutes, your answers are then sent to an examiner

Face to face conversation with an examiner, lasts 12-14 minutes
