Über Heathfield Summer School
Heathfield Summer School is for overseas girls, ages 8-17, who enjoy a very full programme of English lessons, excursions, activities and sports. It also includes English with Style, our etiquette, culture, fashion and well-being course for girls aged 14 to 17.
Students enjoy a well-balanced programme which comprises 20 English lessons (15 hours' tuition) per week in the mornings, three weekly excursions and an exciting range of activities in the afternoons and evenings. Older girls aged 14 – 17 can also enjoy a week on our English with Style course which includes British culture and etiquette, fashion and well-being.
Heathfield has an exceptionally good staff to student ratio of 1:6. Teachers of English, sport, art, dance and drama, activities assistants and our pastoral and office staff live in the school with the girls to create our very special happy, family atmosphere.

Heathfield Summer School provides an education of the same high standard as the main school.
Each year at Heathfield we welcome girls aged 8 to 17 from over 30 different countries, including many British girls on our Summer Camp.
Many students return for three, four or even five summers. Some go on to become student assistants, a few of whom have been with us for over 10 years!
To help girls settle in and make friends, they are all assigned, on arrival, to a House - a group of girls of different nationalities and ages, together with their own House Staff.. Together they put on House shows or take part in sports competitions; these events are extremely popular and help girls to mix with each other.

It was an awful camp, I would give it 0 hearts if I could. The teachers are extremely immature and mean, a few are fine but that is the bare minimum, isn't it? We are forced to play sports everyday in the scorching sun, and we can't relax in our rooms at all, not even for half an hour. The camp also has a really weird rule, that is, girls who are not from overseas are not allowed to go on excursions. That is it, none at all. This was a problem for me because I had almost no clothes to wear and I really needed to do some shopping. And I am from overseas, I don't know why there was confusion. The older kids are forced to stay up doing Model UN and similar activities until 10pm. The girls are nice and all, but the younger kids can be annoying. My biggest issue is the teachers. I highly suspect most of them hate children. They take money if it happens to be not locked away in your room. They force us to put on low-quality plays every week. My sister was bullied by two members of staff who made her cry several times. She tearfully wanted to call our parents to get her out of there but I convinced her to just endure it since we could leave soon. We are yelled at if we stay in our rooms even though it was so hot outside.
Not to mention the outrageous prices for such a scam.
I told this to my parents and they will never send us here again. Absolutely trash dumpsterfire camp.
