Hispano Continental

The MOST wonderful experience

Hispano Continental is, without a doubt, the BEST place to study Spanish in Spain. I've both taught with my university (2007) and studied (2016) at the institute. The two directors, Xili and María, along with their colleagues, work as diligently as they can to make sure that anyone, who decides to study or work with them, receieves an education of the highest caliber, which is also authentic, positive, and multifaceted. Class size is small, with the maximum of approximately 15 students. Classes are also intimate, as every teacher works to develop a strong relationship with each student. Courses are hands on, as the school is located in the center of Salamanca and students are given assignments and encouraged to meet locals and interact with them to learn about culture, politics, and history. Students have the opportunity to live with host families, which are intricately arranged so that both the students and families can have constructive interactions that may develop into long-term friendships. Students can also live in flats or university- style residences, where they can build friendships in an international setting. The school offers fun cultural events to attend each evening, from watching movies to making traditional Spanish foods. They provide information for local events and places to socialize. The institute also puts together fantastic excursions to important historical sites and other major cities outside of Salamanca. Each step of the excursions is thoughtfully aranged, so that from the moment one gets in the vehicle, he or she has a seamless experience of fun, exploration, discovery, and comfort. Transportation, tours, and food as well as free time are all integrated into them. I have only positive things to say and remember from my times at Hispano Continental. I have seen and experienced the special care taken to make sure each person feels recognized, valued, and capable by everyone working at the institute. If you'd like to create a lasting bond with the Spanish people, language, history, and culture, this is your home. The school and it's amazing staff will stay with you for the rest of your life- and you'll be welcomed back at anytime with open arms.

Hispano Continental es excelente

Estudiar en Salamanca es un gran fiesta con las profesoras de hispano continental. Con mi amiga Marjon hemos aprendido muchísimo del idioma. Cada día teniamos unas horas intensivas pero siempre con el buen humor de nuestras profesoras: hemos siempre tenido mucho animo ir al colegio. Puedo recomandertede verdad si quieres aprender bien hablar y leer el español. Despues de 4 semanas ya puedes comunicar como un Salmantino/a

Ik heb een fantastische tijd gehad op deze school. De docenten zijn super lief, oprecht en bekwaam, waardoor je je direct helemaal thuis voelt. Ik begon helemaal bij nul qua Spaans, het eigen ontworpen lesmateriaal is hier perfect op aangepast. De school is klein, waardoor je je medestudenten snel leert kennen. De activiteiten die georganiseerd worden zijn interessant en uiteraard goed voor je Spaans.

Ten slotte is Salamanca een geweldige stad, het historisch centrum is prachtig, je kunt er heerlijk eten en het nachtleven is ook helemaal het einde.

grupo de jóvenes

Estuve en Salamanca con un grupo de jóvenes 18 alumnos y yo era la profesora de ellos en Brasil. Todo me encantó. El curso, ellos fueron divididis en 2 grupos diferentes, pues fueron organizados por niveles. Las familias que nos recibieron eran maravillosas, las actividades agradó a todos del grupo. Fueron días inovidables. Queremos volver lo más rápido posible a Salamanca y por supuesto en Hispano Continental.
