The Christian English Language Centre is a high quality, 'boutique', family-run English language school. Established in 1977, we offer a 5 star package for 4 star prices.
Our location is historic and stunning, yet we are just 5 miles from the centre of cosmopolitan Bournemouth.

General English
Improve all your English language skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing. Start when you want to and study for a few weeks, a few months or a whole year. Course includes 15 hours of tuition per week plus optional afternoon programme. We encourage students to participate in the afternoon activities, as one of the biggest advantages of studying an English language course in the UK is the opportunity to practice conversational English every day with those around you.

General English + 5hrs Exam Preparation
Improve your English skills and gain an internationally recognised qualification for work, for university admission or just for personal satisfaction. Course includes 15 hours tuition per week within a General English class plus early morning examination preparation programme.
You can prepare for:
FCE (First Certificate in English), an upper intermediate level English exam
CAE (Certificate in Advanced English), an advanced level English exam
CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), an upper advanced level English exam
IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
We encourage students to participate in our afternoon activities, as one of the biggest advantages of studying an English language course in the UK is the opportunity to practice conversational English every day with those around you.

Our Summer School venue – Moorlands College – is beautifully located just 2.5 miles from Christchurch and inside the New Forest National Park. Beaches, forest, the Purbeck Hills and Bournemouth are all very close by.

We offer carefully designed programmes for groups of students, aged 12-18yrs wanting to take English language courses in the UK. We accept as few as ten and as many as 40. Most groups stay for one week but two, three and four week programmes are also possible.

I had the opportunity to come to England and I have not regrets. The classes were taught in engaging and fun ways. The teachers were really nice and helped me to improve my confidence in speaking English. The places we visited were breathtaking. And we learned a lot about the UK history. It's an amazing course and you learn many thinks and visit many places, and the teachers are incredible and friendly, the place it's amazing you can walk around the course and have great times. You can do sports and its funny beocuse you play with the teachers. Come to vist, it's beatiful.
